The Tunegirl brings a lifetime of sound into a live modular techno set.
Her path started far from the usual club route, from hard rock and school bands in the 70s, through funk, soul, synth-pop and early DJ years in the 80s. Later, the stripped machine sound of Detroit techno, minimal, acid and house became the real turning point, with artists like Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Richie Hawtin and K-Hand shaping her direction.
After years of writing with classic hardware, software and different studio setups, she found her true instrument in eurorack modular. At Dalma, The Tunegirl performs live with a raw, hardware-led approach. No fixed arrangement, no easy shortcuts. Just machines, instinct and techno built in the moment.
